Jane and Lionel have a beautiful home in the Cotswolds. Wanting to put an old studio to better use they converted it into a lovely apartment and then…..five months flew past. Finding themselves busy with family and life in general, and unsure of how to set up and run an Airbnb listing, the apartment sat empty rather than earning an income as planned.
We discussed the property with them – the location, type of guests it would be suitable for, how much involvement they wanted to have and most importantly what they wanted to achieve from letting out the apartment. And after collating their property details and photos, researching pricing for their area and agreeing dates and availability we created their listing on Airbnb.
Six hours after the listing went live, the first booking was in.
Jane and Lionel don’t have the time to manage guest queries, reservations ore pre-arrival arrangements so we do that for them and then they and their housekeeper take care of cleaning, laundry and changeovers.
The reviews have been exceptional and the apartment has been booked every single weekend since being listed.

Temporary Cover – Holiday Cottage Complex
The owners of Goonwinnow Farm in Cornwall entrusted us with looking after their five holiday cottages while they took a trip to South Africa. They were anticipating having little internet or email access while they were away and they also wanted to be able to enjoy the holiday as much as possible, without worrying about missing enquiries and potentially losing future business.
After a handover with the List Assisters team to explain their properties and processes, we were assigned temporary co-host access to their online accounts to monitor incoming messages and got on with things. Here’s what the owner, Mark, had to say when they got back:
